For many people, the moments in the shower are when we put our thoughts in order or, on the contrary, totally disconnect from the everyday. For those times when you don't have time to get to spa, an excellent idea would be to turn a daily habit - showering - into a session of meditation to energize you. You have two exercises to do, entitled "The Sun Above" and "The Earth Below".
Imagine the sun as a golden orb above your head. Its rays stream over your entire body as if made of honey.
Inhale deeply, imagine that you are breathing in the golden sunlight itself. Visualize how it fills every space of your body, including your neck, the back of your eyes or your abdomen.
Concentrate on the points where you feel tension and, as you breathe out, aim to use the sun's energy to release any traces of stress.
Now imagine that from your soles grow roots from the center of the earth. Imagine that the earth is a green globe, like a giant emerald stone that emanates good energies. Visualize how your body picks up all these energies and combines them with the light from the sun. The two types of rays merge in a spiral and form a protective and healing layer around you.
Finally, say in your mind the following affirmations: "The sun is above me, the earth is below, I am safe and I am protected. I am connected to source energies. I am aligned with the sun, the earth, the Universe and everything else. All is and will be well."
