5 Feng Shui rules to triple your productivity

Discover 5 Feng Shui rules that will triple your productivity! When we are energized, we are often told that "we are in our element". We come to work with fresh ideas, we're productive, optimistic and seem to emanate a well-being which also soothes those around you. This mood also depends very much on the environment - more specifically, on the state of chi or energy. If the energy is blocked in a particular place, it will produce stagnation or "sha chi" (i.e. negative energies), which will depress the space and therefore the people living in it. But energy is everywhere: not just in a room, but in feelings such as love, joy or peace. Here's what we can do to keep the energies 'flowing' at all times, without blockages that can damage our effectiveness.

Here are 5 Feng Shui rules that will triple your productivity:

1.  Synchronizing our habits with those of nature

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, we should stop the day's activities at sundown - we turn off the computer and TV, close the blinds and get ready for bed around 10 pm (23 at the latest). This way, we will be able to wake up without the "help" of the alarm clock.

2.   Let's take breaks to "reconnect" during working hours

Breaks help us to be more productive! The results of the latest studies in the field show that the magic formula for optimal efficiency is 17 minutes of breaks for every 52 minutes of work. But there is a big "BUT". These breaks have to be REAL, i.e. spent outdoors, away from any electronic devices. On rainy days when we can't get out of the office, it's advisable to leave the room and do some simple stretching exercises.

3.   When we feel "stuck", we need to move 27 things

We all have "stuck" moments. Those moments when we feel uninspired and can't get down to work. In Feng Shui, however, there's a life-saving idea: moving 27 objects. 9 is the lucky number in the Chinese tradition, and 27 is a multiple of 9 - hence the almost 30 moves. We can move anything - from emails to move from inbox to spam to books in the library, the only rule is to stick to the number 27. No more, no less.

4.   Breathing fresh air - is one of the 5 Feng Shui rules

Air clean is the simplest way to wake up. So open your windows!

5.   Let's meditate on a view

It's true that not all of us have panoramic views of picturesque hills or waterfront offices. But a view is not necessarily a landscape. We can ponder a painting, a poster or even a captivating screen saver.

The basic rule remains the following:

Let's do more of what we really love!
