It is important to nourish and hydrate the body in favor of the chakras. When one of the energy centers is out of balance, the first reason you should think about is incorrect nutrition. There are a number of foods specific to each chakra, and eating too much or too little of them can cause disturbances in the body.
Root vegetables: carrots, potatoes, garlic, onions, beetroot, radishes
Protein-rich foods: eggs, meat, tofu, soy, peanut butter, beans
Spices: pepper, paprika, chives, horseradish
