Via making booking more efficient we can ensure a steady flow of customers and avoid financial losses due to cancellations or vacancies. At the Spa 2025 Conference, we will be talking to spa managers who have managed to maximize their profits starting from reservations management.
Increased retention rate in Spa is the method that provides steady revenue, but also reduces the costs associated with marketing and attracting new customers. From personalization of services, constant feedback, loyalty programs and other techniques, we'll discuss concretely what and how we can do.

We reward spas that make a difference and succeed in bringing spa and wellness experiences to the level of art.
There will be 16 award categories.
In 15 of them, the winners will be chosen by the jury: specialists with extensive international spa experience.
All types of spa, wellness and spa centres can apply.
For the 15 prize categories, the price is €150 + VAT / category / sub-category.
In each category you will have to fill in an Application form and submit material such as photos and videos.
There is one category which is FREE and for which only the public vote will count, the jury is not involved: BEST SPA EXPERIENCE

In this category, spas that offer professionally managed services to consumers in line with modern wellness & wellbeing trends are invited to enter the competition. Guests visit the spa only for these services, for a limited time - maximum one full day - without these spas also offering accommodation. Services for relaxation, maintenance, physical, emotional and mental development result in improved quality of life, preservation of health and longevity. Day Spas can fall into the following sub-categories, depending on the major share of the type of Spa & Wellness services/facilities offered:
Spas that offer medical services recommended by a Doctor of Medicine with different specialties, including Dr. in holistic medicine (Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, etc.), and other services in the area of wellness & wellbeing. Medical day spas can fall under the following sub-categories, depending on the major share of the type of services/facilities offered:
The health, wellness & wellbeing facilities and programs developed in such a Hotel / Resort, transforms that location into a Spa destination in the eyes of consumers. The spa is the main reason for the stay of most of the guests staying. Depending on the major weight of the type of services, you are invited to apply to the following sub-categories:
Hotels/ Resorts that have Spa facilities and offer services with benefits for body, mind and spirit enter this competition. Guests are invited to spend quality time, relax, rejuvenate, meditate, enjoy. The spa is an additional attraction, which should bring in additional revenue. The main purpose of the stay is not necessarily the Spa, not all guests staying at the Spa choose to enter the Spa. They can also accommodate non-holiday visitors.
All Spas are invited to compete that stand out for their innovation and originality through design, architecture, equipment, technology, eco-friendly facilities, atmosphere, products and services integrated with nature.
We reward treatments that bring elements of novelty that strengthen and shape recognised health & wellness concepts
We reward signature rituals that include carefully selected treatments (e.g. exfoliation, wrapping, massage, facial) and that, in a complementary way, will contribute to shaping a perfect sensory experience for the guest. Notes of originality will be highlighted.
We award the photo that best captures the spa experience of deep relaxation and regeneration, that captures the viewer's attention and remains in their memory and soul.
Bathing resorts, mountain resorts, seaside resorts, other resorts of national interest can apply
Spas that have a good balance between aesthetic and functional design and, as a result, offer truly regenerating and relaxing experiences for guests are invited to participate.
Programmes that include both services and activities for relaxation, maintenance, physical, emotional and mental development and that develop users' healthy lifestyle habits are eligible to apply. In the Spa section - all categories of spas can enter In the Companies and Corporations section - all categories of companies offering corporate wellness programmes can register. In the case of Day Spas, firms and corporations, the programmes must run repeatedly for at least 1 month. In the case of Spas that also offer accommodation, these Programmes must include daily services and activities for guests, check-in and check-out days may be excluded. A healthy option menu is also mandatory.
Spa Managers with a minimum of 1 year experience in the position of Spa Manager and who are distinguished by leadership qualities are invited to apply.
We award the supplier with the most complete and qualitative offer for building or equipping spas.
Manufacturers, distributors or spas using the product can apply. We award the cosmetic spa product that stands out for quality, originality, clean labels, effectiveness and innovation. Which proposes treatment protocols for both face and body that touch all the senses. Which has all the solutions for the most common needs of today's spa consumer.
This category is open to Massage Schools that offer quality, innovative and professional development-oriented training programs for therapists - according to international standards. Schools are invited to apply, highlighting their contributions to massage education and impact on the wellness industry.
