She was lucky enough to be born into a wonderful family from whom she received affection, love, discipline and a sense of ethics that helped her to make her way slowly but surely.

The evolution of Narcissus

He graduated from high school with a real profile and then went to law school. For 11 years she worked in the legal field, with aspirations to become a magistrate.

He worked in several companies before joining Turism Covasna SA, about 14 years ago.

"I grew up with the Company"

He has had a challenging evolution, from one field to another, but all these trials have built the man he has become today.

For the first 9 years he represented the legal office (company lawyer) where he dealt with all legal matters, including representing the company in court.

Due to the challenges and opportunities that arose in the company, one day he realized that he had the possibility to follow another trajectory: "I have realized the real potential to become the best version of myself today, accepting the challenge and thus entering a field with new development perspectives and a new mission".

"Although I love my origin as a professional background, the legal one, I have come to identify and dedicate myself much more deeply to the hospitality & business field and to use the knowledge I have acquired previously. I feel that I have managed to create a perfect symbiosis between the two and offer the best of both."

Thus, in 2018, just before the Pandemic, she was promoted to the position of Deputy Managing Director of the company, and in 2020, she took over the position of Managing Director.

Ever since they took over as CEO, they have faced unprecedented challenges: starting with the pandemic period, which they overcame by managing to keep the team and the company in financial balance.

"In these years I discovered in myself skills that I didn't know or didn't accept, but also skills that I didn't value such as empathy, strategic vision, people orientation and the pleasure of organizing."

1. What do you consider to be your strengths that help you to be such an appreciated director, whose team is also very united and an example of hospitality?

My concept of management is one of leadership and team-building. Since our business in the tourism industry is based on hospitality, this can only be created with qualified, quality people who put heart into what they accomplish on a daily basis and truly believe in the power of example.

The fact that I am next to my colleagues and among them, that I support them and contribute to the development of each department, together managing to pass each event or challenge and to increase the quality of services permanently with the involvement of all, makes the team to function and to be united. I believe that in a team respect is earned and not due to position.

Due to the fact that I am ambitious, I want to have an ambitious and performing team next to me and that's why I am never satisfied with the level we reach and I am constantly coming up with new challenges and high demands. I am proud and honored to be part of the Turism Covasna SA team!

2. What does a typical day look like for you?

Although I like the sound of "an ordinary day", for me every day is different, full of challenges, with new tasks and motivations, which determines me to be in a continuous development, to constantly learn and discover all sorts of things in myself, basically to be always on the go, increasing the demands both personally and as a team, and the satisfaction and satisfaction become immeasurable when the results come.

3. What motivates you?

The fact that I work in a large company such as Turism Covasna SA with several hotels and a large accommodation capacity in different categories of classification and a unique spa treatment center at national level due to the natural factors in Covasna but also their concentration, with modernization projects and continuous development, comes with a constant motivation to complete the projects started and start new ones.

I'm passionate about what I do here, I put my heart and soul into my work and the fact that we have managed to grow so beautifully and so much motivates us as a team to move to the next stage.

4. What is the greatest satisfaction you have had from your work?

Throughout my activity I've had a lot of satisfactions, not to say any of them as being less important because they were elements to form the whole, I enjoyed from the first event organized or the first sold-out, from each diploma obtained, but the greatest satisfaction is related to the important evolution on the competitive market of the new investment - Caprioara SPA & Wellness Resort **** with the creation of a new concept that was realized both through the rebranding in 2021 with the new visual identity and through the services offered and developed in each segment - accommodation, F&B, conferences, spa treatment and SPA & Wellness.

Basically we managed to give life to a new Medical SPA concept, by creating the mix between the Treatment Center & SPA & Wellness Center through Beauty Center Caprioara by Gerovital and Mineral SPA Center, by rethinking the flows, the spaces, making investments. Thus, there was practically a reorganization of the entire existing approach, including in terms of human resources, which attracted another segment of customers who aim not only physical recovery through spa treatments but also the state of inner balance through SPA & Wellness therapies offered.

5. But the biggest achievement?

My greatest achievement is Matthew-Stefan, my little boy, who has awakened in me the strongest feelings, principles and moral values, who has determined me to become a team player, to learn to put someone else unconditionally and with maximum detachment in the first place. Thanks to him I have learned that I can achieve anything starting from nothing, that I can go beyond my limits and that I can achieve what I set out to do. The greatest accomplishment is when your child becomes a better version of you.

6. What do you consider as your greatest success in life?

I entered this beautiful project Turism Covasna SA in the short term, but it turned out that what we were doing here was good, the projects were born and realized and everything was going in a progressive line with great results, which led to my presence in the company on a longer term, managing to form a wonderful team and to develop investment projects for the company's development.

7. 1-2 hardest trials you went through that defined you as a man?

I went through very difficult moments with impact in my personal and professional life, but each time the fact that I have found my faith in God and I have a permanent support from my family, I managed to rebuild a healthy soul that can offer love, positive, well being and the ability to pass on these things, but also to attract around me special people who contribute to creating the necessary soul to get through.

I am certain that these difficult trials have led me to become more understanding, deeper and closer to God but also more realistic in prioritizing the values in my life.

8. What were the key moments in your life that made you the man you are today?

Most of the time I consider myself a lucky man and I say this because I have met people with great moral and professional values that have had an impact on my professional and personal progress. I would not want to concretize by examples because I could not make a list without making a ranking and it would not be fair.

9. What is the best thing that has happened to you so far?

In a field as vast and complex as tourism, beautiful things are constantly happening, but what makes me happy every day is the collective that I have managed to create and that brings added value to the company and to our activities here. The reviews of our guests complement the results obtained and motivate us to do many more beautiful and perspective things.

10. What is the lesson you learned the hardest?

I'm the kind of person who doesn't live in the past, I like to enjoy the present to the fullest and I'm excited to look to the future. They say that you learn a lesson when you let go of the past...and I do this all the time, I see the full side of the glass and look for the right solutions to fill it, I take every "lesson" I have received as a helpful experience and I can say that I have had some of the best...

The hardest lesson was the one that made me realize in a harsh and direct way that life is just a moment that you can stop having without realizing it...and that made me appreciate simple moments and gestures and accept the people around me as they are.

11. What bothers you most about society?

I have always been extremely demanding, ambitious, very direct and guided by values and I fail to understand those who resort to certain circumstances, whether it be inappropriate language or behavior, which morally degrade them as people. I'm not in a position to judge, but I do make a rigorous selection of the people I interact with or the circles I frequent.

12. What brings you joy, fulfillment?

I consider myself a fulfilled and happy man, both personally and professionally, and I generally enjoy the small things that are actually the essence of the realization of big projects.

13. What are your fears?

We all know that the opposite of fear is courage. As long as I have confidence in myself and strengthen my faith I consider myself a courageous person, but like any of us I have fears of height, of fire, of not being able to live up to the expectations of those around me, but which cause me to overcome and balance myself to follow a normal course both personally and professionally. Faith is at the basis of courage and rebuilds me every time I feel that I have any fear or apprehension and I am grateful for my health and the health of those around me.

14. What are you dreaming of doing that you haven't yet managed to do - but it's in the plan?

I have a lot of things in the pipeline that I have not been able to start or prioritize. Professionally, in the short term I want to realize the investment that I started last year in the SPA & Wellness Center of modernization, and personally I am working on prioritizing the things in my life to spend more time with my family, but I want to believe that I manage to combine without affecting any of the components, my work in the company with that of a mother and wife.

15. What Balneo & Spa trends do you see in the short and medium term?

The Balneo & Spa trends that I have in mind for the short/medium term including the development of our SPA & Wellness Center serving Caprioara SPA & Wellness Resort **** are related to creating unique and personalized experiences to suit the individual needs of each client, to emphasizing prevention both by improving the general state of health and reducing anxiety and stress by using in therapies natural factors that are true wonders of nature - 100% natural products, by training therapists with knowledge gained in professional training centers, with improved techniques, empathy and positive attitude.

From my point of view, the ideal formula in a Balneo & Spa temptation would be to manage to emphasize the natural resources that make a definite difference and to include them in therapies by creating a perfect mix between body and soul, essential in achieving a health tourism.

16. What message would you like to convey to the world?

Let's build our faith, let's be better, more positive, let's enjoy the things that really matter and are the essence of our accomplishments and let's give love especially to those who need it! Without a healthy soul we cannot have a healthy body!
