The UAE-based developer, Aldar, announced plans for The Wilds, a new wellness-focused community to be developed in Dubai, aiming to offer residents a life immersed in nature and revolving around the idea of sustainability and wellness.
Developed in partnership with Dubai Holding and scheduled for completion in 2029, the project will combine premium residences with green spaces to create a living environment that supports both a healthy lifestyle and biodiversity.
The Wilds aims to redefine the concept of living in harmony with nature, offering families and young people a peaceful environment surrounded by green spaces and varied wildlife.
Certainly a unique project in Dubai, this residential community will be home to a diverse range of animal and plant species integrated into a forest sanctuary that ensures their protection and conservation.
Features such as ponds, sprawling lawns and dry watercourse habitats will enrich the landscape, alongside artificial bird nests, bee areas and duck roosts that will contribute to the community's commitment to sustainability.

A distinctive architectural element of the development will be The Nest, an iconic community pavilion, perfectly integrated into the natural landscape, which will serve as a visual landmark and meeting space for residents.

For those seeking relaxation, the community will offer shaded wellness pavilions, meditation spaces, resort-style swimming pools and cocoon hammocks. Walking and biking trails will wind throughout the community, inviting residents to explore and relax amid nature.
Sports and adventure enthusiasts will find modern fitness areas, exercise platforms, as well as tennis, padel and basketball courts.
Located along Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Roadopposite Global Village, The Wilds will be located in one of Dubai's most prosperous residential areas.
The community will include almost 1,700 homes, including five- and six-bedroom villas designed by renowned Lebanese architect Nabil Gholam. Each residence will be surrounded by green corridors and green spaces, offering privacy amid nature.
A prestigious international high school will be an educational pillar of the community, offering outdoor learning spaces and facilities with a focus on sustainability.
The daily needs of residents will be served by a shopping center at the entrance to the community clubs, a kindergarten, a clinic and two mosques.
Designed as a living educational space for children, the community will integrate interactive play areas, aquatic spaces for exploration and shallow streamsencouraging nature discovery. There will also be playgrounds adapted for people with disabilities, including sensorial spaces and specialized equipment.
The Wilds is the first community in the UAE to achieve the highest global sustainability and wellness certifications: LEED Platinum and Fitwel 3-star.
The launch of this project follows the success of Haven and Athlonalso in partnership with Dubai Holdingwhich sold out in just a few hours after the launch, confirming the high interest in wellness and active lifestyle communities in Dubai.
