Therme Bucharest, the largest wellness center in Europe organizes, from October 7-27the 6th edition of the biggest sauna festival in the world and the only one of its kind in Romania - Sauna Fest 2024. Among the premieres of this event is the presence, for the first time in Romania, of the best Aufguss master in the world, Michael Niedermair, winner of the Aufguss WM 2024.
Time 21 days, Therme themed saunas become the stages for the most spectacular sauna shows by the world's best Aufguss Masters. This year's edition brings 80 masters from 18 countries and doubles the number of shows compared to last year. The event will also see the inauguration of two new saunas in the Elysium area with a total capacity of over 120 seats - Ad Astra and A Terra.
For the first time, Sauna Fest 2024 brings together More than 80 international Aufguss Masters will stage over 500 sauna shows, in those 21 days of the largest sauna festival in the world. The 80 masters will guide participants on a journey of the senses through special techniques that naturally combine storytelling with theater, music and sauna.
Time 21 days, sauna experts from 18 countries: Belgium, Denmark, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, The Netherlands, Romania, Italy, United Kingdom, Croatia, Ukraine, Japan, USA, Canada, Estonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, will give unique performances for Romanian audiences. Another highlight of Sauna Fest 2024 is themed saunaseach with its own world of relaxation: Bavaria, Provence, Hollywood, Alhambra, Amazon, Himalayas. Plus the 2 new saunas, To Astra and Earth, built from scratch on the occasion of the 6th edition of Sauna Fest, which increases the capacity of the largest sauna complex in Romania by 120 seats. This brings the total simultaneous capacity of the Therme saunas to 470 seats. These innovative spaces combine modern design with state-of-the-art technology to create a unique and captivating atmosphere, in line with the demands of both local sauna lovers and international guests.

Already an international benchmark, this year's Sauna Fest brings a record number of shows and masters, making it the only festival in the world to devote 21 days exclusively to this art. The large number of invited international Aufguss Masters comes with a record number of sauna shows, which translates into an hourly sauna show from early in the morning until late in the evening. Visitors are thus expected to discover why this festival has gained global recognition by taking part in innovative rituals in the most impressive settings.
