The beginning of June brings good news at Bacolux Hotels. With Whitsun, the Bacolux Hotels group is gradually reopening the hotels in Baile Herculane that it has in its portfolio, namely Aphrodite Resort & Spa and Diana Resort.
Three months ago, on March 16, the Bacolux Hotels group closed all its locations in Herculane, Craiova and Busteni, at the time of the state of emergency in Romania due to the pandemic. More than 100 days of suspension, distancing and reorganization have passed.
"During this period, we had to re-learn the way we do things, implement new rules and new safety and hygiene procedures, new disinfection circuits. We have a new challenge - to maintain the safety and health of our employees and guests in the face of this delicate situation", says Laura Pătru, Marketing Manager Bacolux Hotels.
"Before reopening for tourists, all Bacolux locations will be disinfected by a certified company, using advanced disinfection procedures approved by authorized institutions.
Among the hygiene measures adopted at the venues are the placement of disinfectant dispensers in both common and employee areas, thermoscanners at hotel entrances, disinfection of all surfaces and frequently touched objects in common areas, placement of disinfectant mats at all main access ways, restricted use of elevators, washing and disinfecting surfaces in rooms and common areas with biocide solutions, legal spacing of tables in resort restaurants, creation of predefined meal programs to avoid overcrowding of restaurants, thermoscanners at restaurant entrances, bactericidal UV lamps in the food area, disinfection of tables, chairs after each service, daily monitoring of employees' temperature and health status at each shift entrance, use of protective equipment by all hotel employees," Bacolux Hotels representatives point out.
